Judgment of more than $40,000 for eleven workers, represented by the Legal Aid Justice Center, against Verizon subcontractor Anthony Maxwell, U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland, 3/26/07.

Prior to launching this campaign, the workers had only been able to collect slightly more than $3,000 of this judgment from Maxwell.

Verizon contractor S&N Communications, Inc. has stepped up and paid this judgment in full on behalf of subcontractor Anthony Maxwell, despite being under no legal obligation to pay the judgment. As S&N’s counsel stated: “S&N is and has always been committed to assuring that everyone who works for its subcontractors is paid and paid promptly.” Thank you, S&N!

Prior to launching this campaign, the workers had been unable to collect this judgment.

Get Verizon to meet with the other cheated workers and their advocates and resolve the many remaining claims for unpaid wages.
